introduction & objective: |
| The
following report tries to identify the "Best
date" and "Best time-slot" - during a
given period around the due delivery date, when a
child birth should take place through a planned
caesarean operation. Though, in my personal opinion,
a child birth should always be through "normal
delivery", without interfering in nature's own
course. However, sometimes, on medical grounds,
caesarian section becomes necessary. |

| Report's
astrological base: |
The
report is purely based on Vedic astrology principles.
The report creates twelve "Ascendant-horoscopes" for
each considered date, one horoscope each for the
twelve ascendants within a day. For example, if we are
considering four days around the due delivery date,
4 days x 12 horoscopes = 48 total
Ascendant horoscopes would be created. Thereafter, each of these horoscopes would be analyzed for astral signatures present in them based on planetary configurations present in them.
The report takes into account detailed analysis of
Lagna lord, in much detail, checking it's exaltation, dignity, combustion, shadbala, Natal Ashtakvarga status, benefic and afflictive aspects thereon etc., to finally arrive at
"Overall Functional
Beneficence" (OFB) values for the lord of
ascendant.
An "Overall Functional
Beneficence" (OFB) value of the planet
concerned is written either as a positive number or as
a negative number. This OFB value is the result of consolidation and quantification of various key astrological factors. It is, in fact, much more than just considering the house lordship(s)
of concerned planet.
My algorithm takes into consideration most of the principles told by sage Parashara
in "Brihat Parashara Hora Shastra" and also the principles recommended in other important Jyotish Classics, by various renowned Jyotish scholars, for determining the functional nature of different planets. Further, the importance of various considered astrological factors have been calibrated very carefully -- as told in ancient Vedic Jyotish texts. This is the reason that, at times, some less used, but very important, Jyotish factors may be found over-shadowing the net result obtained through the normally used Parashari principles to determine the beneficence of a planet. For example, (a) if a planet has very low Ashtakvarga points in its posited sign, (b) the posited sign itself is also weak in Sarvaashtak and (c) the concerned planet is also placed in a non-contributor's kakshya -- its beneficence will go down considerably, though it may be Lagna
lord or 9th Lord. Similarly, if a planet is posited in
"Mrityu-bhaag", this fact will cause considerable decline in planet's beneficence.

Which
aspect of horoscope has been most emphasized? |
In this
report, my highest emphasis is on the Ascendant (Lagna)
and it's lord.
The Ascendant is our significator in the chart, our
vehicle in manifestation. It is the most important
factor in the chart, and its strength or weakness can
override anything else.
The first house relates to the self and indicates our
basic self-expression in life and in the material
world. It is the main factor for determining physical
constitution but more generally shows our orientation
to life as a whole. The stamina, state of health,
temperament of the person, manners, mentality and
nature of an individual, self-expression, character
are signified by this house.
It indicates our congenial physical vitality, so that
when weak, is a primary factor in ill-health. Strongly
afflicted, it produces difficult birth or even infant
mortality.
The first house indicates how we project ourselves on
a public level- our initial and general appearance to
the world at large. As such, it determines the whole
structure of our outer manifestation; our personality
as well as our body. Thus afflictions to it can cause
mental disorders.
For any significant accomplishment in life, a strong
First House and its ruler are necessary. It aids us in
our career, as it helps establish self-identity and,
therefore, is important for honor, integrity, fame, or
recognition. |

| How
to evaluate and compare various Birth-Muhurta horoscopes -
in general: |
Normally, the OFB values around zero should be considered as
"Average beneficence", while increasing negative OFB values here denote increasing malefic nature of the concerned planets in a chart. Same way, higher OFB positive values indicate higher benefic nature of the planets concerned.
There are three main criterion to judge an
"Ascendant horoscope":

The ascendant should be unafflicted and should
have benefic aspects. If afflicted, the
intensity of affliction should be very low.

| * |
The
ascendant lord should have a good amount of
OFB value. Higher
the positive OFB value of ascendant lord,
better horoscope it should be considered.
|
| * |
The
eighth house should be devoid of any
planets. It would be ideal situation.
Otherwise, at least, avoid a horoscope which have the
Moon in 8th house. Also avoid the
horoscope which have ascendant lord in 8th
house. These horoscopes should be rejected
even if there are high amount of positive OFB values.
