In Vedic astrology
calculations, a day
does not start at
00:00 hrs and does
not end at 24:00 hrs
in the night (as we
normally assume
these days).
Instead, it starts
from concerned
date's Sun-rise time
and continues till
next sun-rise. This
report uses the same
principle. As the
intra-day
calculations are
based on exact
Sun-rise and Sun-set
timings of your
present location,
you must take care
that all timings
shown in this report
are applicable for
your current
location only. If
you move to another
location, all
timings of this
report would change,
depending upon the
geographical
difference between
the two places.
The table
consolidates
calculations for
three important
astrology parameters
for each minute of
the 24 hrs duration
during the day. For
example, suppose at
09:50 am, listed
information in
report is as

The first abbreviated code
(eg: "Excl") provides information about
the results of first astrological test, the running
planetary
hora, for given minute, shown as a
4-character
abbreviated code (Excl= Excellent; Avrg = Average; Inad = Inadequate; Wrst = Worst etc.).
Thus, in
above shown example, "Excl" means that 9:50
hrs is "Excellent"
for the native as per first astrological parameter
("Hora").
The quality of an operating "Planetary
Hora" is determined through
calculating "Overall Functional
Beneficence" of various planets in
native's chart.
To calculate the Overall Functional Beneficence (OFB) values of various planets, first of all, we need to determine the functional benefic and functional malefic planets in a birth-chart, as told by sage Parashara, and the principles told in various other streams of Vedic Jyotish to measure the exact benefic or malefic nature of the nine planets in the
your horoscope. The importance of various astrological parameters is to be calibrated very carefully - as told in ancient Vedic Jyotish texts.

The Second column
of the report tests another very important astrological principle,

Ashtakvarga, on your birth-chart. It
also shows results
as 4-character code,
like "7e28" or
"4i34" or "2i30".
This four character
code can again may
be splitted further
in three components.
For example,
"7e28"
has three components
- "7"
"e"
and "28".
The value of first
component may be 0
to 8. Higher the
value, it is better.
Second component may
have either of the
two values, "e" or
"i". If it is "e",
that is better. If
it is "i", it is not
so good. The third
component is "28".
The average value of
this component is
28. Higher the value
(eg: 30, or 34 or
40), it is better.
Thus,
7e28 is better than 7i28
5e34 is better than 5e23
6e27 is better than 4e27

The third column
of the report shows beneficience values
obtained, for the
moment being tested, as per
the third astrological
technique -
the "Panch-pakshi shastra".
Higher the strength
