Frequently Asked Questions

What does the terms "Excellent"; "Good"; "Poor" etc. - written in the heading, just below the date line, mean?

Question:

In the Panch Pakshi report, I just noticed a word like - # Good,  # Fair,  # Excellent etc. - in the 3rd line of header paragraph  for a date, just below the date line. Kindly help me understand this.

Answer:

In Panch-pakshi report of each date, the terms, like # Excellent; # Good; # Poor; etc, written at the top of the report, just below the date line indicates general auspiciousness of the concerned Day or Night segment.

This categorization is based on the fact whether your own stellar bird or your friendly stellar bird is the "Ruling bird" or the "Dying bird" of the concerned Day/Night segment. It also considers whether the "Dying bird" is your friendly bird or inimical bird.

In fact, it also considers the comparative strength of the five birds. When the "Strongest inimical bird" is the Dying bird, and your own stellar-bird is the "Ruling bird", that segment will be the "Best" overall. Same way, vice-versa to it, when your own stellar bird is the "Dying bird" and your strongest inimical bird is the "Ruling bird", that segment will be "Worst" in general.

The general auspiciousness will influence the results of Main-activities and Sub-activities. You can understand it more clearly as follows:

Suppose, you have "Ruling" main activity and "Ruling" sub-activity (Ruling-Ruling) on 1st March 2015 between 10:00 am and 10:30 am. Naturally, this half-an-hour period will be the "Best possible" time duration within that day segment. Now, if on this date, discussed header row also shows "
# Excellent"; this half-an-hour duration will become even more better.

Now, take another example. Suppose, you again have "Ruling" main activity and "Ruling" sub-activity (Ruling-Ruling) on 5th March 2015 between 10:00 am and 10:30 am. Naturally, this half-an-hour period will again be the "Best possible" time duration within that day segment. BUT, if on this date, discussed header row shows "
# Worst"; this half-an-hour duration will not be as good as it was on 1st March.

Similarly, take the opposite example. The "Dying-Dying" time duration will be less harmful when header row shows "
# Excellent". On the other hand, the "Dying-Dying" time duration will become even more lethal if header row shows "# Worst".

If you carefully observe the Panch-pakshi table prepared by me, all of the above discussed factors has been taken care of in the final numerical values written on right hand side. Due to this reason, numerical values are not same for two "Ruling-Ruling" or "Dying-Dying" periods.
