When trying to open program, I am receiving
the following error message:
Error number: 30
Error Message: "Position is off the
Screen" |
What may be the solution?
|
|
Causes of the error: |
The reported error is a
very minor error. It may
be caused due to any of
the following two possible
reasons:
|
Your screen
resolution is too
low:
Your computer screen
must be having a
moderate resolution
of 800x600 pixels,
minimum. More
resolution is still
better.
Solution: |
You can
increase your
screen
resolution by
clicking the
right button
of your mouse
on a blank
area of your
desk-top,
after
minimizing all
open windows
(if any). It
will show a
pop-up menu
with several
options. One
of those
option will be
[Properties].
Click on
[Properties].
It will show
you another
menu
[Display
properties]
which will
have
[Settings]
as one of the
options.
Choose
[Settings].
It will show
you a
scrolling bar
for increasing
(or
decreasing)
screen area.
Most probably,
your system
will be
showing 640 by
480 pixels.
Increase the
Screen area to
800 by 600
pixels.
Press button
[Apply].
Once your
screen area is
increased,
re-run the
program again.

The "Arial
Narrow"
font is not
available in your
system:
Though, it is a
very common
"True type"
(or "Open Type")
font,
found in most of the
systems normally,
but if due to any
reason, it is absent
in a system, the
reported error
occurs. The program
uses this narrow
font of "Arial"
family to "compress"
several push-buttons
in the available
limited space of a
program window.
In such a case, when
the "Arial
Narrow"
font is not found on
a system, program
automatically tries
to use the normal "Arial"
font (or some other
similar font). It
makes the
push-button row
wider, requiring
more space, which is
not available.
Solution:
|
This topic has
been discussed
below in much
detail. Please
this document
carefully. |
|
In both of the above
mentioned cases,
the
error number 30,
(i.e. ""Position
is off the Screen")
would be caused..
