Enter the password:
An optional
"user password" facility is provided in the program.
If your computer has access of other people also, you may opt
to give a password to prevent their access to your Vjyotish
reports.
By default, this facility is switched OFF to save you from unnecessary
hassle of entering the password each and every time you run
VJyotish. However, if you wish, you can switch ON this
facility any time or switch it if OFF again. The option to
activate it (or de-activate it) has been given in
"Programme Settings" menu, which is accessible when
you are in "Single Aspects mode".
If the password option has
been switched ON, the next screen will ask you to enter your own
personal password. If you enter a password here; every next
time, whenever this program is run, it will ask for the
password and shall operate only when correct password is
entered. The program will give the user three chances to enter
the correct password. If you do not enter the correct
password, the program will terminate immediately. This
facility will prevent other people from peeping into your
personal astrological report.
Please
remember, the password entry is optional. It is up to you
whether you need it or not. Password may be of up to 10
characters. The password may consist the characters (A to Z)
and numbers from 0 to 9. A good password should be
alpha-numeric, i.e. it should consist some letters and some
numbers (eg: 28apr1967). The password is case-sensitive (i.e.
28apr1967 is different from 28APR1967).
If you do not
want to enter any password, leave it blank by pressing
ENTER-key. If you leave it blank now, you may enter it at a
later date also, if and when required.
Very
important:
· If you
choose to enter a password, please choose a password, which
you can easily remember (like your own or spouse's birth date
). Also note it down at a place where you can find it, if
forgotten.
· Please
remember that the password is case sensitive.
"a67ytb98" is different from "A67YTB98".
Therefore, be very-very careful if you opt to enter the
password.
· Recovering
your forgotten password:
If you forgot your password and can't find it despite
your best efforts, there is a way in the program itself to
recover it. Just enter master password "abcxyz" at
the password prompt. It will show your password at the bottom
of the screen. You can note it down and enter this correct
password thereafter.
