F.A.Q.-

I
wanted to inquire to find out if you might
ever make a version of your program for
astrologers to use for clientele charts.
The program could be a modified
version that would involve a purchase fee
but would allow for entry of different birth
dates.

I
do not plan to bring astrologer’s version
of Vjyotish in near future. This restriction
saves me from rampant problem of software
piracy and reverse-engineering the source
code.
Vjyotish uses a pre-processed raw database
for creating various indices. It cannot
create this database itself. This raw
database is created through my another
back-end proprietary software "Rishi".
In fact, the main calculation engine is
"Rishi". "Vjyotish"
simply presents this data in a user-friendly
manner (in the form of various indices). As
I do not intend to sell "Rishi",
the back-end software, therefore this
constraint cannot be removed.
It is due to this reason that a user himself
cannot load a chart to Vjyotish. All
required charts have to be loaded by me
only.
Vjyotish can be used for a group of people
on the same PC. You just need the
pre-processed data files of as many
individuals. However, you cannot create
these pre-processed data files yourself.
You’ll need to order me these files for
each of the individual.
For the astrologers like you, each
additional data file can be ordered at a
discount of 25% on list price. The first one
is without any discount. You can order these
files for several charts in a single day or
over a period of time.
