I was born on 8th April 1955
in New York (NY), USA. My birth-time
is around 15:15 hrs (03:15 pm). But it
is an approximate time only and may be
plus or minus 1 hour. I am not sure
about my exact birth-time. Can I still
use the customized Vjyotish?

I know my date of birth but
I do not have any idea about the birth-time.
Can my personal Vjyotish still be
calculated? If yes, will it be of any value
to me?

(03:15 pm). But it is an

On 8th
April 1955, at 15:15 hrs., the Vedic
ascendant was Leo (at 17:47 degrees).
in New York. The Leo ascendant started
there at 13:45 hrs. and lasted up to
16:16 hrs. Thus, there is no problem
if your birth-time is plus or minus
one hour. Your ascendant will remain
the same (Leo).
Among several
Jyotish parameters used in Vjyotish
for calculations, most of the major
parameters are ascendant based. Thus,
your 80% Vjyotish calculations will be
alright till your ascendant is not
changed. Though, some Jyotish
calculations may change some what (for
example – those based on Vimsottari
dasa and Divisional charts). But, such
calculations form only 20% of the
overall
Jyotish factors considered by the
Vjyotish. Therefore, you need not to
be over-concerned about the
applicability of Vjyotish predictions
due to confusion in your birth-time.
At the worst, it will be with 80%
accuracy level. Not below that.

to me? |
An
ascendant is of about two hours duration. If
you have an approximate time of your birth,
it will not make much difference if
ascendant remains the same.
However, if you have absolutely no
idea about the time of birth, then Vjyotish
can be prepared for your Moon chart, based
on your date of birth only, instead of your
ascendant chart. Moon remains in a sign for
about 2.25 days. It will still give you about
70%
accuracy level against normal Vjyotish
accuracy level.
To
prepare a Moon chart, you need to send us
your date of birth only. If you have a
approximate idea of your birth-time, write
it in the space provided for special
instructions on the order form, like - “I
was born early in the morning. Exact time
not known. Use Moon chart instead of
ascendant chart.”
For the purpose of completing and submitting
your order
form on my website, write 12:00 hrs. as
your birth-time. However, your Moon-chart
will be prepared placing the Moon in the
ascendant irrespective of the time which
birth-chart may show.
