When you install Vjyotish (or any of our other programs -
like "Stock
Compass" etc.), all files are simple
extracted to C:\Vjyotish\
folder. If you wish to uninstall Vjyotish
(or any other program) for any reason, you may simply delete C:\Vjyotish\
folder without any problem. Nothing is
changed or written to any system registry
files by Vjyotish or any of our other program.
However, only icon\short-cut for Vjyotish (or, Stock Compass, as the
case may be) will still remain on
desktop and program-menu, because they are
in the Windows folder.
I'm going to write an un-install program soon to un-install
Vjyotish and my other programs - in a professional
way. Till then, you
will have to delete following shortcuts
manually.
(It
is presumed here that Windows is installed
in your C: drive. Write “C:” if Windows
is installed in your C: drive, else use
drive letter where Windows is installed)
If you are running Windows-95, 98, 2000 or
ME, delete following Vjyotish short-cut
files:
C:\Windows\DeskTop\Vjyotish.lnk
C:\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Vjyotish.lnk
C:\Windows\Start Menu\Vjyotish.lnk (if
found)
If your system is
installed with Windows-XP, delete following
Vjyotish short-cut files:
C:\Documents and
Settings\All Users\DeskTop\Vjyotish.lnk
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\ Start
Menu\Programs\Vjyotish.lnk
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\ Start
Menu\Vjyotish.lnk (if
found) |
